Ingredients: 6 oz Champagne, Sparkling Wine, or Prosecco; ½ oz Brandy; ½ oz Sonoma Syrup Co. Mint Infused Simple Syrup; Fresh mint leaves; Fresh ice

Enjoy this fun twist on a classic summer cocktail. The base for any classic Mint Julep recipe calls for Mint Infused Simple Syrup. However, you can also muddle fresh mint leaves with Classic Simple Syrup for this delicious Mint Julep cocktail. Simply add the brandy of your choice, fresh ice, and then top with Champagne or sparkling wine for a splash of bubbles. Enjoy!

Champagne Mint Julep

Ingredients

6 oz Champagne, Sparkling Wine, or Prosecco
½ oz Brandy
½ oz Sonoma Syrup Co. Mint Infused Simple Syrup
Fresh mint leaves
Fresh ice

Directions

In a tall glass combine Simple Syrup and brandy
Fill with ice half way
Slowly pour in sparkling wine near to top and gently stir
Garnish with mint and enjoy!

Recipe Note

As a substitute for Mint Infused Simple Syrup, muddle fresh mint leaves with Classic Simple Syrup.
